Hello everyone, we're pushing our 2.2.8 updates out today. Once you receive the email, you'll be able to download it immediately with an active license via your purchase area.

This update simply fixes a few minor bugs and addresses the two outdated templates that are appearing on the latest version of XF (2.2.8). Bolt Dark has also received a massive color overhaul. See below for details on that.

Before Upgrading
As always backup your current styles before importing the new version. Backing up is simply exporting your current styles before upgrading. Check out our documentation on how to back up your style if you have further questions.

Bolt Dark update
Bolt Dark received a massive overhaul on the colors. The backgrounds were simply too dark and the links were too bright. It wasn't the best experience.

You can see the old (left) versions compare to the new (right)

@Russ I see that some js are removed from the bolt 2.2.8 package vs 2.2.6, do you intent to do that?

Intentional.

We removed the old qTip JS which was used for our design mode. It's replaced with a new JS system using the official CDN. This is only loaded if you're an admin and you actually turn on design mode.

Additionally, we switched to using the CDN for the backstretch script if you use that as well.

Those were our only two JS files.
