XenBase is a style framework that gives end users many features to add effects and styling to their styles. You can use the XenBase framework to create some unique styles with features that are just a check box away. There are numerous style properties to help with styling in areas such as the nodes that a default XF style doesn't have. Usually you have to change the "primaryContent" property to change background colors on the nodes, which can leave other areas with undesired results. With [XB] (XenBase) the nodes can be styled independently from the primaryContent property. The same result can be achieved with the sidebar secondaryContent properties.
Without going in to a ton of detail with this intro (more info on release) we have some nice features for adding effects to your style by just checking a box. As you can see in the above screen shot, Enable Alt Hover Effect, Enable 2 Column Layout, Enable New Thread Indicator and Enable Node Icon Links are just a few examples of the added options to the framework.
