Can you set starting width? + Wasn't there a floating notice somewhere?

ON default when a visitor comes the first time the width is set on minimum, can't I set it so it start's at the maximum width?

Also, I can remember in the past there was an option you could set a notification that you can click away, like a news message.

I can only find the welcome message but can't find that notification pop up anywhere.

The width the user sees the first time is set here: Style properties -> Page setup -> Maximum page width.

The "alternate page width" is only loaded if a user clicks the page width toggle.

As for a floating notice, we never had anything built in the styles, XF does have floating notices though. Communication -> Notices -> Notice type "Floating"
