Core Background - Add to the editor

I would like to change the background to a fixed single image but notice there are not settings for background options. Could this be added to the editor (xenBase) at some point please?

In the meantime, what is the easiest way for me to add my own fixed background that sits in the middle and fills the page?

Are you referring to the page background? If so you can modify Style Properties -> General -> HTML
