Core Dark - Featured Threads

I'm thinking of making the Core Dark my default theme but the Features Threads page, archive and featured thread at the top of the forums has the same background meaning it looks a little messy. It all works perfectly and looks good on the lighter Core.

What should I add to the extra.css to make it look much nicer in Core Dark? Thanks for your time

You'll need to remove the gradient in the style properties for FT's. I don't recall the exact ones but it is the block background for pages and another one.

Another thing you could do is open the gradient he calls inside photoshop and just the layer completely, then save as a transparent image(although removing where it's called would be ideal)
