The UI.X theme that I'm moving from makes use of widgets for the footer area. I have these setup using a display condition in the widget template to show a different footer for different user groups.

Since it doesn't look like XenBase uses widgets for the footer area, is there another way that I can change the footer blocks depending on the user group?

For none paying forum members I like to display the benefits of paid membership and a sign-up button in the footer. For paying members I prefer to display a thanks for supporting the site message, these benefits are now unlocked etc..

Thank you!

Solution
Easiest approach on this would be to use the footer templates.

Under Style properties -> Footer -> Footer block # content choose "Custom template (xb_footer_block#)

In here it will give you power to use far more complex setups with conditionals. You should be able to use the same conditional from the widget. Let me know if you need further help on this.
