If you see the link the banner is massive and, is there a way to make it smaller to fit correctly ?

Also i have some buttons to add over the top is that possible so i can use the buttons as a url link?

Few things wrong here I'd say, the image is just simply too large. You can use CSS to resize it but for the text to fit it would look strange:

I'd suggest removing all the text on there, or making the text it's own image and the background characters another image.

Okay so currently i have the banner displaying like so
