How to add something to the navigation?

I would like to add an icon and text to my blog in the navigation between Forums and Members. This would be leading off site essentially as I have WordPress installed on /blog.

Can anyone help with this? Needs to have an icon too, could use the Resources icon though as I've seen some forums using the Resources tab but I don't use it.

Easiest way to manage the navigation I think is using the plugin nodes as tabs, by Jake Bunce.

It's pretty resourceful in adding new links, or else you'll need to modify the navigation template directly.
