How to change the layout of my sub forum

Morning,
Currently my sub forum layout is looking to cluttered. Images below of how it looks now with separate subs to a clean 1 sub forum.

It's a little weird... not sure why you have those bars as those weren't introduced until 1.5.6, yet you're running 1.5.3.

Anywho try this in extra.css:

.forum_view .nodeList li:not(:first-child) .xbSubHeading {
  display: none;
}
