Inbox and Alerts link colour?

Is there a reason that Inbox and Alerts links are greyed out? Do they "ungrey" when you have notifications or something?

Yep, XenForo does it by default, Extra.less:

.XenBase .p-navgroup-link.badgeContainer { opacity: 1; }
