Basically one of you clients OK got me totally demotivated with his new forum to continue my project and probably gonna sell my XF license off.

Sorry to hear that, I'm not sure which client it is but I will say this...

I'm currently building a forum for myself in an extremely over-saturated market that will probably not take off, but I'm doing it because I just have such a genuine interest in it. I'm looking at building something that other forums in the same, ridiculously over-saturated market don't have.

You can look at forums two ways, passion or a business. I've found that doing it as a passion results in just having a way better experience. I wouldn't be discouraged by other forums in the same market, just do you and enjoy your time. It may never take off, it may never get more than 5 people registering on your forum but enjoy your time as a forum owner and just make it your own.

Sure mine was more out of passion and I think my layout looks way better. And I know as a marketer that's how things go but why of all times around the time I'm building my, why not 2019,

@cannabis ape Don’t give up man. I would still build it up competition or not you could still come out as the top dog, followers come and go. I’d at least be a thorn in his side or a pain in his ass.
