Node List Under Category

I'm trying to change the background for the nodes listed under the category strips but not having any luck, is background colour in Nodes > Node List Under Category the correct place?

For example, I'd like to change the Moderators Area background colour in the pic below.

By default they inherit primaryContent, you can override it by setting a color here:
Style Properties: ├ ─ Nodes -> Node Primary Content

Little break down of the colors:

The pink/green have a 10px padding to demonstrate it.
