I changed the page_container background color few weeks ago, but I don't remember where I changed it

Could you please give me the name of the style propertie ?

PAGE_CONTAINER is a template... are you referring to maybe Style Properties -> Page Setup -> Page Background?

No, I am talking about the color behind widgets, and categories, on the forum list, not the main background of the forum, thanks

Check Style Properties -> Page Setup -> Main content container, this controls the boxed area when "classic forum style" is enabled.
