We need staff to be able to discuss a ticket, without the user seeing it.
I think the permission is implemented, but it's not active as far as I can tell.
Implemented in 1.4.0.
Is this implemented as 'hidden' responses?
if so, then please make it so that all staff comments are separated in a thread. Similar to how the Thread Notes addon works.
Add a 'staff discussion' tab at the top of the ticket. Clicking that would show the staff thread. Host the thread in a staff forum node.
This way it will be possible for staff to have a logical discussion amongst staff members.
Having hidden messages in between ticket responses does not work well and can easily be overlooked. Or the 'hidden' checkbox forgotten which leads to members seeing staff messages they should not see.
That's also my concern
ALSO: Converting a ticket to a thread makes the "hidden" posts visible. So separating this from each other would be much safer.

Please remove the 'hidden' posts function or allow us to disable it.
Is there a separate suggestion for the tab discussion already? May be worth adding one if not as I think it would be more functional than hidden messages.
