Style install guide?

I am interested in purchasing the Flat Awesome style and was curious why the style installation guide is blocked - until after the theme is purchased?

What I am concerned about is having to install some "theme manager" addon before being able to install the theme. I've already been burned for $50 on a theme, because it required some heavy "product manager" addon to be installed first - which I am not interested in.

Is this how PixelEdit manages their themes as well? or do they install the same was as the free version(s) of the theme?

There are a few steps in the install process.

We use a framework but is literally just a parent style that houses all of our custom things and any style installed under it inherit those options. Other than that there are no extra add-ons or managers.

Thank you, is there somewhere I can find out what the difference is between the free and paid version of Flat Awesome style?

I like the simplicity of the install on the free version, and willing to fully support it with the no branding, etc options.

Looks like you took the plunge! The free version of Flat Awesome has zero additional features outside of the default XenForo. The + version has a ton of features, a bit too many to list.

This is an older thread but has most of the info, unfortunately with the permissions at XenForo I can't edit it.

As for the resources ya basically the install guide is meant for customers, we have some new documentation coming which may change the permissions of that.

You did a great job on this theme! It has a ton of features, and I really like the 4 preset styles for the message layout. It's hard to decide which one to use ... as I like them all.
