How can you make the border thicker like jaxel did?

No problem , are you sure you're adjusting the properties for the "Core" style, when I adjust this part:

to 20px, the result I get is this:

It should work nothings changed on that part, I did remove the line from the image that's it.

Just tried the same and it seems that the style ignores the colour you tell it to use for the bottom padding and instead uses xenbasecolor1 (or the body bg colour, they're both the same in my case). The padding size itself still changes correctly, just not the colour.

Ah, you have this CSS on the same SP page:

border-bottom-color: @corehexcolor;

It therefore ignores whatever you select and uses this colour from your palette instead.

Whoops forgot, guess I did change it , I removed the line on the image and made it be controlled by that color in the style properties, basically so folks who wanted no border could have no border

The width and style is controlled in the upper portion, the color now pulls from under core properties -> core hex color, its in the misc box for the picture above. I'll take a new one

Either change corehexcolor in your Color Palette or remove the CSS "border-bottom-color: @corehexcolor;" from the page in the image above.
