Hi Russ,
Can you please tell me how to go about changing the styling (color) for a particular area? Is this Flat Awesome or XF settings? I'm lost in a sea of inherits it feels like. :)

Thank you

That's controlled by: Style Properties -> Building Blocks -> SubHeading, by default it inherits Color Palette -> xbHeadingBackground

Let me know if that helps :)

Thank you Russ, that works perfect. But I think we may just be going in circles with this area. See now that we have the proper background color(s) for the Stats and Sticky areas, there is one little rectangular area behind the Replies & Views section (on a standard thread), that we can't change separately. If we change it, the problem then moves up to the sticky thread area, ya know? Screenshot Attached.

That should be controlled by an entirely different area. By default XF adds a little background color to that, we sometimes make it transparent, you can adjust the background color:

Style Properties: [XB] Discussion List -> Stats List Block

That changes only 2 small horizontal bars atop and below the rectangle. Screenshot Attached.

Set it to a transparent color:
Code:
rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)

Should work on each row

Yes with that it now goes back to the original Screenshot I sent. The rectangles are the same color as the Sticky background. The red bars are gone, but the rectangle remains.

Check here:

Style Properties: [XB] Discussion List -> Stats <dl>

Set the same transparent background color there. I believe you should be able to put a 0px border there as well to avoid those little lines

Russ! We've been racking our damn brains trying to figure this out. I swear we tried that. Is 'clear' the same as rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)?

Thanks a ton man.
