Vertical space in lists

This is more of a general question: what would be the best way to add vertical space between the items of ordered and unordered lists? We are using Nova, in case that's of significance.

Such as lists inside posts? If so extra.less edit:

.bbWrapper li {
    padding: 6px 0;
}

Will affect ALL lists inside messages just as a heads up.
