Why doesn't XenBase page assets styles work in Pages?

I can't seem to get the XenBase styles to work in Pages or Help pages. They seem to just ignore the styling that works throughout the forums, AMS and other addons. I've checked and unchecked advanced mode too. I know there is a reason for this but I'm missing it ATM. Thank you.

Two things need to happen for the page assets to work.

Page Assets

Build pages quickly with our page assets

Load the CSS, and surround all HTML inside the <div class="xb-assets">codehere</div>

It's meant as a very basic approach to pre-made HTML/CSS.

You rock. Worked perfectly and I forgot the css load line, which I had assumed loaded just like every other forum page. Thank you.
