    Ok we have decided to go with no www.

    or just

    However how exactly do we make this change on our server?

    Can anyone describe the benefits and cons of each? Im still not 100% sold on which way to go.

    What are the cons to do nothing, and keep both?

    Preference really, and consistency I'd say.

    @Steve may be able to direct you in the right way, requires some re-writes I believe in the .htaccess file.

    Have you thought about getting an SSL Certificate as well? A nice green padlock! :D Looks reputable and its more secure.

    I think it has some SEO benefits as well but I'm not sure, I always setup https on my sites now, most people recommend you do.

    I don't know if you're using a VPS but if you are it's pretty easy to setup LetsEncrypt.

    LetsEncrypt is free though, it's pretty much no trouble to setup if you setup a cron job to renew it automatically.

    @Russ What does PE use?

    I'm using AutoSSL.
    It cost nothing and don't have to install anything.

    Just recently switched because the other cert was expiring.
