XenForo 1.4 – What to expect?

Hello PixelExit team,

As an owner of the Splash theme, I was wondering what the plans were going to be for upgrading our styles to XenForo 1.4 and when we might expect to receive updates for them if necessary.

Hey @jflory7 we've released Beta 1 which is basically 1.3.4 version of XenBase with the templates brought up to date. Once 1.4 has gone stable we'll be doing a rather large XenBase update which brings some cool functionality and of course improvements.

On top of that, we'll be dedicating time in the coming weeks to improve each style itself, specifically planned for Splash will be replacing some of the icons used with Font Awesome, changing the patterns to a transparent version which will allow for easy coloring.

You can upgrade now to the 1.4 Beta 1 version safely(just make sure you backup your styles)
