Should be: Style properties -> Tabs, reduce the height there.

It's not something our style supports, nor are there plans to make them support it (XenForo is ending XF1 support entirely soon). You can always use CSS to change the background of the icons and just make the font invisible.

But how to do it?

Inspect the icon and find the class.
Something like this:

.node .tinyIcon {
    color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);
background: url(styles/rssicon.png) no-repeat 0 0;
}

We replaced all of the icons throughout the entire style though... to be honest I'm not exactly sure why you'd want to go back.
