Core Light and Dark on 2.3 ("some" questions)

I haven't used Xenforo for a very long time, and somehow buying a new license and installing it felt like traveling back in time, with lots of question marks. With the new license, I also wanted a stylish theme, so I opted for Core, only to realize afterwards that I still had the old theme, but without a license... Oh well, you guys deserve the support...

I followed your instructions and installed the light style, once as Core and once as Child, if I understood the instructions correctly?!

The instructions said something about Dark Child Mode no longer being supported from Xenforo 2.3 onwards and everything being in one?

I think I need some clarification on this, because I would like to use both the light and dark styles.
And that brings me to the question of whether it's possible to switch between them once I've figured out how to install or activate the dark style.

And last but not least, is there a working light-dark switch?

I apparently need to update our docs! I'm so sorry about that.

Dark child styles are not a thing anymore as with 2.3 the dark mode is built into a single style.

If you're not seeing the dark mode option, make sure to check variations on your Appearance -> Styles -> Click your style name

Default placement for the switcher is in the footer, but we also have an option to add it into the navigation under Style properties -> Header and navigation.
