Page Background

I have set up a page background using your resource tutorial. https://pixelexit.com/resources/setting-up-a-page-background.12/

But, when I go into Style Properties to go to a wide style the background is up top with the logo. At first, I didn't like this and my question was going to be "How do I make the background still cover the whole screen." But, that's OK, at least for now.

My question though is the white which covers the rest of the screen is not the background from the original Apex Light download (html-bg-light.png).

How do I get that color to be the background again?

Yeesh I'd need to see it live to see exactly what's going on little confused with just those screenshots.
