Adara Questions

I've just installed and have a few preliminary questions.

First question: Although I've set the style as my default and unchecked all the others, they still show up in the style chooser.

I can increase the font size of the THEGLOBALSOUP part, however for re-sizing purposes I'd say the slogan should go underneath it.

Right, didn't think of that. Ok, if you can increase the size of name, with "GLOBAL" in white, and the tag line as you have it I think that will look just fine.

Alright:

It can go bigger if you'd like, currently the logo is 400px wide.

The one on the right, with the tag line aligned to the left and in grey looks great. I think the size is good.

Oh, and I'm confused about where to upload the logo. It says in
Style Properties: Header and Navigation
the logo image path is: @imagePath/xenforo/logo.png

I don't find that path in my file manager. Maybe this is why the original "ADARA" logo didn't show up?

"@imagePath" is defined via Style Properties -> General. It makes it so you can contain all of your images in a folder. By default imagePath is set to adara, so basically you'll want to upload it to styles/adara/xenforo/

You could also name it like logocustom.png just in case so you never overwrite it.

Does that make sense?

I don't see an adara folder under styles. I see styles/default/zenforo.

It's included in the /upload/styles/ folder when you downloaded the zip. Make sure XenBase + Adara folders are both uploaded.

Thanks, the logo does look fantastic, thanks to Russ.

The translator is easy to set up:
1. get the code from Ms Translate https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn355994.aspx
2. insert the code where you want it to appear on the nav bar: admin/appearance/template/header/navigation
3. You'll probably want to remove some of the languages by listing the language codes of those that you don't want in the script.

2. What do I do about the "Facebook Open Graph Logo?"

Can this be replaced with the Global Soup logo?

3. In admin I have the message "outdated templates" listed as:

ADARA/navigation

Do I need to "merge changes?"

No need. I found a color picker eyedrop tool in Firefox that did the trick.

That one should be fine for mobile, it may be trying to load a mobile logo though:

Style Properties -> Header and Navigation, remove the Mobile Logo Path

Or how small do you want it?
