Outdated templates. What to do?

Yes, I think I did it wrong. But, in a roundabout way it's right.

I seem to have lost anything I did to style properties (Xenbase) there's code in extra.css that is not being executed yet it's there.

You shouldn't edit XenBase at all but rather a child style you have set under the style you purchased (Apex).
 
I never touched XenBase, I know that much.

I overwrote XenBase with new XML.
I overwrote the Style XML with new XML.

Then I noticed my edited style was by "itself" and not under XenBase 1.4.2 and the style xml 1.4.2

That's when I panicked. I do have the right hierachy but don't recall how I accomplished it.:(
